I see mine in there but after reading through NinjaKato's journal about the same site Im just gonna let it slide since its a phishing site and giving them more info is not a good idea.

First time (that I've learned about).  Posted in my journal.  Does it do any good to contact them and jump through the "this is mine take it down" hoops, or should we let DA apply their muscle?

From what I can tell they're shady as hell, here's their policy for "submitting" art:

"We don't have a base of images, and don't host or store images on the our servers.
Only PayPoster.com helps users to find images that interest for them, the site uses data of the most known third-party search engines.
The process of the search goes on an user's browser.
Users make search queries by themself, all content displayed in a window of the browser is received from third-party search engines.
Displayed images are loaded from third-party servers, and they aren't hosted on our site.
When the user make the order, we get the image from the user, he is responsibility for use."

There's no oversight, they're basically an art-piracy site.

I've done some digging and found that they may be a phishing site, using the report/DMCA system to get details and/or spread malware, I don't know for certain, but it is a possibility...

Here's the source from NinjaKatopayposter.com/[[DON'T CLICK IT!]]

don't give your name, give your screen name. give a junk email address.  I've encountered this sort of crap for years.

as for malware.  I use state of the art tech protection.  Kaspersky. You get the protection you pay for.  I've yet to be hit with anything in 5 years.
Come Cyber Monday....ultra cheap on Amazon.  just in time for my next annual update protection.

I found one of MY peices on there payposter.com/poster/dagger-le…
This is the first time I've -ever- found a piece of MY 3d art on a ripoff site... SO, how does do I go about reporting this to DA, PD?

Oh yeah...and you can see my watermark on the bottom, too!

use only your screen name, do not give your name, if they are a phising site, they want your name and email.
go to each image and report it....long process. sorry.  from what I guess their botts and others like it can't read sub folders of DA's file structure.

For me this is one of those cases where you're weirdly disappointed to NOT find your stuff getting ripped off.

Is that a compliment or an insult?   There was a huge hit a few years back with three sites selling DA content.  I was missed....I was just starting out in 3d,  guess back then I wasn't good enough.  guess I'm still not good enough, I only had a total of 10 pictures for two accounts.  Guess I still suck.  :-)  but I have seen my art on porn sites and that's why I'm doing water marks now.

Well, on the wild and woolly Internet you never know. The watermarks aren't a bad idea. I've included small text boxes listing URLs back to here on some of my images in the hopes that at least if someone posts them elsewhere they'll help some people find their way to DA and to my other work. But yeah my SO is a writer who publishes most of her stuff electronically. Since text is the easiest thing to copy and circulate electronically, with file sizes WAY smaller than images, audio, or video, she knows she loses a lot of sales to piracy. But you can go crazy trying to stamp that out.

I know about books being pirated.  I'm being pirated that way too.  I have a series of book I'm working on beside 3D art.

I also guess, and this is a guess, keeping files in a sub folder and not root directoyy might help. their bots looked to have stollen from there only.
