Whats an Independent supposed to do?

I’d never taken on a job that involved kidnapping, let alone one that involved politicians. I have a personal code that says no bounty hunter jobs. None. Never. So what’s an Independent supposed to do when handed not just enough credits to feed you for a year but hands you a new ship?

I expected the interrogation to take an hour. She freaked out, looked me in the eyes, “Kill me now…please…don’t take me to them…kill me. That was two day’s ago, she’s still screaming for me to kill her. I kill her, this group will come for me, her terror says enough. I hand her over, they may still come after me.
