Still a Scifi fan....however.

I'm still a scifi fan at heart and the rank structure of the Navy in space still appeals.

but my heart and mind are tested when stupidity takes the drivers seat.

I barely watch the fanfilms...the ten rules don't bother me.
but this is one step away from what I do.
Fanfiction.

And that does bother me.

CBS/Paramount lost in the courtroom: the Uniforms. pointy eared aliens, pretty much everything they did...they lost. the hardest hit was the klingon language which I think to some extent is still going on. but instead of a grace full mediation, this was a temper tantrum that like an avalanche will roll and destroy everything in its path.

When the franchise was pretty much dead for so long, the fan films and fanfiction kept it going. 

Now the fanfilms are being killed off. there is no denying this sandbox temper tantrum's sole purpose was to kill one entity with it's 10 rules. It did.  Congratulations CBS/Paramount...but like a poorly timed military strike there was collateral damage and negative reaction...not the way to go into the 50th Anniversary.

The avalanche is still rolling.
